Birch Bay

Our computer was in the shop for over two weeks which is why I am just geting around to posting all these now. Our computer had a virus as well as a spider with an egg sac living inside of it. Gross.
Here are some pics of Memorial day. We went to Birch Bay which is in between Bellingham and Canada. We had a picnic and some beach time, and then got and icecream cone and drove around looking at all the houses and condos. I ended up getting a goofy sunburn.

Sunshine

Sparty should live in a sunnier climate. He hates to be wet, which means he doesn't like to go outside for nine months of the year here. When the sun is out he'll go and lounge in a sunbeam. We say he's doing his morning sunshine meditation.

Baby hat

This is a little hat I just knit up. I knit one for Sylas like this when he was a baby, and I think Judah wore it too. I wanted it to look chocolate minty!

baby blankets

I made some baby blankets using a pattern from Amy Karol's Bend the Rules Sewing. Which is a book I am kind of obsessed with. I made one for baby Ezra, and Ruthie said it was the first blanket he was wrapped in when he was born. Which is just special. Isn't this a beautiful picture of them?

I wanted to keep baby Ezra for myself.

Baby socks part 2

Here is a picture of my second attempt at baby socks. I used leftover sock yarn from the socks I made for Jared, so Dad and baby will be matching. I was not super happy with the pattern I had and ended up making my own. It still needs perfecting since they get too wide in the gusset. I have another pattern I want to try that has some color work, which should be cool.

Boulevard Park

Here are some pics from some time spent at boulevard park. It has a grassy area as well as a long boulevard on the water. It also has a Woods Coffee shop right in the park, which is pretty nice.

We had a picnic there one day, as well as hanging out with Heidi and Rueben when they came through.

I have many pictures of Jared eating. I also have many pictures of Jared swimming. I guess those are times when I feel like taking a picture. Someday I should post all of the pictures of Jared eating and swimming together.
